<br />黑跗白鳥羽蛾(<i>Pterophorus melanopoda</i>)是鳥羽蛾科(Pterophoridae)鳥羽蛾亞科(Pterophorinae)的成員,從印度沿斯里蘭卡、泰國、印尼、新幾內亞、新加坡一直分布到臺灣。本種的全身軀幹為白色,觸角柄節有褐色斑,前後翅為白色底,前翅分裂為兩根羽片,第一羽片前緣有三個黑斑,第2羽片有一個黑斑,後翅分裂為3個羽片,第2羽片有兩個黑斑,後足跗節最末兩截與爪節有黑色斑,是與同屬其他種類區別的重要辨識特徵。白鳥羽蛾屬(<i>Pterophorus</i>)目前臺灣共記錄5種,本屬大多為白色,沒有太多翅紋,從翅紋辨識困難,目前仍需輔以生殖器解剖才能鑑定。本種的種名中,melano-意指黑色,poda意指足,推測是以本種後足跗節的辨識特徵命名,故中名取為黑跗白鳥羽蛾。圖中個體來自新北市翡翠水庫,2019年6月,由曾兆祥等蛾類調查志工採集。<br />

酪梨寬褶捲蛾(<i>Homona spargotis</i>)是捲蛾科(Tortricidae)捲蛾亞科(Tortricinae)的成員,目前僅知分布於澳洲與越南,臺灣是未正式紀錄的產地。本種雌雄二型,雄蟲體軀與觸角皆為黃褐色,前翅長,外緣圓弧,主要為黃褐色底,前緣靠基部有發達的半圓形前緣褶,前緣近基部1/3處有黑色圓斑,後緣有大塊紅褐色半圓斑,後翅為灰黑色底,頂角帶有橘色。寬褶捲蛾屬(<i>Homona</i>)目前全世界約有<a href="http://www.tortricidae.com/catalogueSpeciesList.asp?gcode=489&chkLastInput=">37</a>種,主要分布於東南亞與澳洲區,古北區、非洲區與新熱帶區亦有少數種類分布,本屬雄蟲大多有發達的半圓形前緣褶,雖然茶捲葉蛾是病蟲害防治上較常用的名字,筆者仍另外建議使用寬褶捲蛾,臺灣目前共紀錄3種。酪梨寬褶捲蛾的英文名為avocado leafroller,在越南為酪梨害蟲,故名之,惟此種的寄主可能廣泛。<i>Homona spargotis</i>過去被當作是咖啡寬褶捲蛾(<i>Homona coffearia</i>)次同物異名(Diakonoff, 1939),然而經過詳細研究後發現應為獨立種,故恢復其分類地位(Whittle et al., 1987)。前述兩種捲葉蛾的雌雄翅紋皆非常近似,必須比對生殖器才能明確鑑定。咖啡寬褶捲蛾過去被認為是臺灣茶葉害蟲之一,但是檢視來自茶改場的樣本後(樣本由桃園茶改場寧方俞與廖珠吟提供),發現裡面有酪梨寬褶捲蛾,目前尚未檢視到真正的咖啡寬褶捲蛾,因此臺灣到底是只有一種還是兩種都有,仍有待後續釐清。圖中的個體於2018年12月採自南投縣仁愛鄉。<br /><br />A Brief Introduction<br />

石匠新月紋果蛀蛾(<i>Metacosmesis laxeuta</i>)是果蛀蛾科(Carposinidae)的成員,目前已知分布於斯里蘭卡、爪哇、中國與日本,臺灣則為尚未正式紀錄的產地。本種的體軀白色,下唇鬚發達且長,向前方伸,觸角白色,前翅為灰色底,基部為黃褐色,前緣有6個黑色斑點,內中線位置中央有灰褐色三角形斑,上方有黑線,中室頂端往翅基有一彎勾形黑斑,被認為是本屬的重要特徵,後緣中央有黃褐色斑,活體時黃褐色斑在某些角度會有金屬光澤,後翅為灰黑色,頂角突出而尖。新月紋果蛀蛾屬(<i>Metacosmesis</i>)是一個目前僅有4種的小屬,主要分布於東南亞到印度,中室附近的彎勾形黑斑被認為是重要辨識特徵(Diakonoff, 1989),故筆者取名為新月紋果蛀蛾。本屬在臺灣目前僅記錄<i>M. aelinopa</i>,模式產地為斯里蘭卡,筆者目前僅找到正模雄蟲的描述,其他資訊不明。筆者根據原始文獻之翅紋描述(Diakonoff, 1982)排除圖示標本為<i>M. aelinopa</i>,然而未來仍需進一步比對雄蟲生殖器以確認是否為<i>M. aelinopa</i>,並確認臺灣到底有沒有<i>M. aelinopa</i>。石匠新月紋果蛀蛾的石匠取名自種小名的"laxeuta",意思為stone-cutter,目前已知寄主為倒卵葉算盤子(<i>Glochidion obovatum</i>)。圖中個體於2019年3月採自南投縣仁愛鄉南豐村,並另有於1月採自宜蘭東澳的紀錄,此外,網路上亦有人於屏東縣瑪家村(3月)與新北坪林(1月)拍到成蟲。<br />

擬白基緋展足蛾(<i>Atkinsonia parignipicta</i>)是展足蛾科(Stathmopodidae)的成員,目前僅知來自於大陸河南的一份正模標本,臺灣則為尚未正式紀錄之產地。本種的頭部為灰褐色,觸角櫛齒發達,猶如一把梳子,下唇鬚發達,前胸與中胸背方為鮮紅色,後胸為白色帶橙紅色鱗片,前翅狹長,鮮紅色底,前緣末端、外緣至後緣1/2處緣毛為黑色,外緣近臀角處有一條黑線,後翅基部為橙紅色,外側為黑褐色,緣毛主要為黑色,後緣有大塊透明區,腹部為黑色底,第三節背方有兩塊白斑,分離甚遠。緋展足蛾屬(<i>Atkinsonia</i>)的介紹可參考本網誌另一篇文章─<a href="http://mothtaiwan.blogspot.tw/2017/05/atkinsonia-butalistis-strand-1917.html">後紅緋展足蛾</a>。圖示臺灣產擬白基緋展足蛾外觀與正模標本和原始描述有些出入,例如:前者前翅僅一條黑線,後者則有兩條平行黑線,前者後翅有大面積紅色區,後者則全為黑褐色。經比較生殖器後,兩者並無顯著差異,故仍將此份標本鑑定為<i>Atkinsonia parignipicta</i>,未來仍需比較更多標本以確認本種的翅紋變異範圍。擬白基緋展足蛾與白基緋展足蛾(Atkinsonia ignipicta)外形近似,學名par-ignipicta即表示近似ignipicta,故將中文名取為擬白基緋展足蛾。根據文獻,兩種最大的差異在於前者前翅有兩平行黑線,後者則沿外緣有一條寬黑帶,惟目前擬白基緋展足蛾翅紋有變異,因此鑑定仍需藉助生殖器之比對。圖中個體來自南投縣仁愛鄉惠蓀林場,2015年7月。<br />

Up to date, there are two <i>Atkinsonia</i> known to be distributed in Taiwan and <i>Atkinsonia parignipicta </i>is the third and new to Taiwan fauna. <i>Atkinsonia parignipicta </i>is similar with <i>A. parignipicta</i> and proposed to be characteristic by the two longitudinal sub-parallel black streaks, however there is variation of wing pattern and further specimen examination is needed.<br />

白基豹裳捲葉蛾(<i>Cerace myriopa</i>)是捲葉蛾科(Tortricidae)捲葉蛾亞科(Tortricinae)裳捲葉蛾族(Ceracini)的成員,目前僅知分布於臺灣與中國湖北、四川(Diakonoff, 1950; Yasuda, 1978)。本種的前額為黑色,頭頂為白色或黑色,觸角絲狀,胸部背方為黑色,有白色斑,前翅為黑色底,前緣至R脈間有許多白色縱紋,前緣於靠頂角處有一突起,中室有紅色斑直達外緣,R脈至後緣間有許多白色斑點,有些個體A1+A2脈從基部沿脈有白色條紋,沿外緣有紅色斑從頂角延伸到1A+2A脈末端,後翅為黃色底,靠翅基為白色,布有黑色斑紋,腹部主要為黃色,各節有黑色帶,前幾節依個體有不同程度的白色斑。裳捲葉蛾屬(<i>Cerace</i>)目前已知約有19種(http://www.tortricidae.com),主要分布於東方區的馬來亞(Malayan)和印中(Indo-Chinese)亞區,並往上延伸至古北區的日本、韓國(Yasuda, 1978; Byun <i>et al</i>., 2017);臺灣目前已記錄其中3種,除本種外,另有<a href="http://mothtaiwan.blogspot.tw/2009/05/cerace-xanthocosma-diakonoff-1950.html">豹裳捲葉蛾</a>與<a href="http://mothtaiwan.blogspot.tw/2009/08/cerace-stipatana-formosana-diaknoff.html">白襯裳捲葉蛾</a>。圖中標本照採於2017年6月,臺南市楠西區,過往則有拉拉山的標本紀錄(Yasuda, 1978)。臺灣三種裳捲葉蛾屬的成員彼此之間前翅翅紋非常近似,網路上錯誤辨識的資訊相當多,茲整理三種的翅紋特徵比較如下:<br />

Sauter)於1911年採集,另有一份引證標本採於1910年,圖中個體採自南投縣埔里鎮凌霄殿,2017年3月。<br />

暗雲叢野螟(<i>Neoanalthes nebulalis</i>)是草螟科(Crambidae)斑野螟亞科(Spilomelinae)的成員,目前僅知分布於臺灣(Yamanaka, 1993; Du & Li, 2008)。本種的頭胸腹部背方為黃褐色,前翅為黃褐色底,前緣有一條黑色帶由翅基延伸至約1/2處,基線為黑褐色,內線為黑褐色,於M+Cu交會處向外折,中室中央有一枚黑褐點,腎紋黑褐色,外線黑褐色,於CuA2像基部彎折,R5、M1-M3、CuA1-CuA2脈在外線與亞外緣線之間有黑色斑包圍,亞外緣線為黑褐色,後翅為黃褐色底,基部顏色較淡,外中線為黑褐色,頂角為黑褐色。叢野螟屬(<i>Neoanalthes</i>)目前全世界共紀錄8種,分布於中國、韓國、俄國遠東地區、臺灣和馬來西亞,各物種之間翅紋非常相似,必須藉由比對生殖器特徵鑑定;臺灣僅紀錄其中一種,即本種。叢野螟屬由Yamanaka & Kirpichnikova (1993)建立,模式種為<i>Pilocrocis contortalis</i>。暗雲叢野螟原本被鑑定為<i>Pilocrocis contortalis</i>,並由Shibuya (1928)依據下唇鬚特徵轉入<i>Eurrhyparodes</i>屬。後來相關研究多數參考前述研究使用<i>Eurrhyparodes</i> <i>contortalis</i>的學名組合(Matsumura, 1931; Klima, 1939; Wang, 1980; Park, 1993; Bae, 2001),Yamanaka (1992)則將之處理為<i>Analthes</i> <i>contortalis</i>。然而Yamanaka & Kirpichnikova (1993)在他們的研究裡比較來自俄國、馬來西亞與臺灣的材料後,建立叢野螟屬,並依據一份雄蟲標本作為正模把臺灣的族群獨立為新種─<i>Neoanalthes nebulalis</i>;Du & Li (2008)在中國的叢野螟分類研究中,根據來自臺北的雌蟲標本,首次描述雌性生殖器。暗雲叢野螟在臺灣沒有近似種,易於區分,目前僅知分布於南投、高雄、臺北與宜蘭低山區,圖中個體於2014年7月採於宜蘭南澳。<br />

櫻背旋蛾(<i>Anacampsis anisogramma</i>)是旋蛾科(Gelechiidae)背旋蛾亞科(Anacampsinae)背旋蛾族 (Anacampsini)的成員,分布於韓國、日本、中國與臺灣。本種的頭部到胸部背方為灰褐色,複眼橘紅色,下唇鬚黃褐色,前翅為灰褐色底,靠翅頂1/3為黑色,外緣近頂角處有一塊三角形白斑,並向下延伸白線,白斑大小有個體變異,後翅形狀方而寬,為黑褐色,無其他翅紋,腹部背方為褐色。背旋蛾屬(<i>Anacampsis</i>)全世界約50種,廣泛分布於舊大陸與新大陸,東亞地區有11種(Park & Ponomarenko, 2007),臺灣僅記錄一種,即本種。櫻背旋蛾原本置於<i>Compsolechia</i>下,而後根據雄蟲生殖器特徵被轉入<i>Anacampsis </i>(Park, 1988),幼蟲主要取食櫻屬植物。本種在臺灣的紀錄最早由Park等人(2000)描述,無近似種,翅紋與紅色的複眼是重要的辨識特徵,目前確切的標本紀錄來自烏來與陽明山。圖中個體產自臺北市大屯國小,2012年9月。<br />

白斑棕瘤蛾(<i>Nanola hluchyi</i>)是瘤蛾科(Nolidae)瘤蛾亞科(Nolinae)的成員,模式產地為泰國,分布於泰國、印度北部、越南、緬甸、中國和臺灣(Kononenko & Pinratana, 2013)。本種的頭部與胸部背方為白色,下唇鬚與觸角為黃褐色,前翅為棕褐色底,翅基有一塊白色斑,白色斑上方有一條黑線,前緣靠頂角處有兩塊白斑,後翅為黑褐色,靠翅基處顏色較淡,無其他翅紋,腹部背方為黃褐色,節與節交界處為白色。棕瘤蛾屬(<i>Nanola</i>)是<i>Meganola</i>複合群中的一員,目前已知約11種,主要分布於東南亞與中國(László <i>et al</i>., 2015),大多數物種以棕色為主,故名為棕瘤蛾;目前臺灣僅記錄其中1種。白斑棕瘤蛾在臺灣目前沒有翅紋近似的物種,其白斑是辨識上的重要特徵,故名之。László <i>et al</i>. (2010)當初發表本種時,指定了來自屏東牡丹(4月)與臺東土坂(12月)的標本作為副模式標本,圖中的個體來自花蓮縣和平林道,2016年3月。<br />

刺槐莢旋蛾(<i>Mesophleps sublutiana</i>)是旋蛾科(Gelechiidae)背旋蛾亞科(Anacampsinae)背旋蛾族 (Anacampsini)的成員,分布於韓國、中國與臺灣。本種的頭部、胸部與腹部第一二節背方為米黃色帶灰色調,腹部其他節為灰色,前翅狹長,米黃色帶灰色調,前緣由基部算起約前翅長2/5處到頂角有黑褐色線,後翅方正而長,頂角明顯突出,灰黑色底,基部顏色較淡。莢旋蛾屬(<i>Mesophleps</i>)全世界目前已知約38種(Li & Sattler, 2012),主要分布於古北區,非洲區與中美洲亦有分布;在臺灣目前僅知一種,即本種,惟分布於東亞的白線莢旋蛾(<i>M. albilinella</i>)亦有機會分布於臺灣,只是目前尚未被記錄,兩者可由前翅前緣的黑褐色斑紋加以區分,後者的黑色斑紋寬而明顯,且靠頂角附近有一條白線穿過黑斑。莢旋蛾屬幼蟲目前已知取食豆科的莢果(李,2002),故名之,而刺槐莢旋蛾則是以其寄主取名。刺槐莢旋蛾原本被置於<i>Brachyacma</i>下(Park, 1990),模式產地為韓國,Li & Zheng(1995)將之轉入<i>Mesophleps</i>,直到2000年才被Park等人正式紀錄分布於臺灣,引證標本來自蓮華池(1997年11月),而圖中的標本則來自花蓮和平林道,2015年4月,另外2016年9月也於同樣地點採獲另一份標本。<br />

江氏斑筒捲蛾(<i>Terthreutis jiangae</i>)是捲蛾科(Tortricidae)捲蛾亞科(Tortricinae)黃捲蛾族(Archipini)的成員,目前僅之分布於臺灣,模式標本來自梅峰,目前尚未正式紀錄梅峰以外的產地。本種的身體為灰白色,前翅為黃褐色底,前緣有一排黑色短線,翅基靠前緣有一塊銀黑色斑,亞基線到內線位置靠後緣有一大塊橙褐色斑,橙褐色斑中央靠後緣有橙黃色斑,中室端部下方有一塊灰黑色斑,灰黑色斑下方有一條橙褐色帶,中室端靠外緣有一塊橙褐色圓斑,翅端有一塊橘黃色斑,橘黃色斑和圓斑之間有灰黑色帶,後翅為灰色底,無其他翅紋;停棲時前翅翅端靠橘黃色斑處向內凹,使外觀看起來像圓桶狀。斑筒捲蛾(<i>Terthreutis</i>)全世界目前已知13種,分布於東方區,臺灣目前已知3種(Razowski, 2008; Buchsbaum & Chen, 2013)。根據Buchsbaum & Chen (2013)的原始描述,江氏斑筒捲蛾與其他種類翅紋上最大的差異在於前翅中室端靠外緣的橙褐色近圓形,惟不論是Buchsbaum & Chen (2013)或Razowski (2008)都未比較來自大陸的樣本。此外,原始描述中提及雌性生殖器交配囊(corpus bursae)沒有囊突(signum),然而原始文獻的圖與筆者的解剖結果皆顯示本種有囊突。本屬在中國的中名為斑捲蛾屬,然而本屬的翅紋與停棲時圓桶狀的外形非常特殊,故筆者與吳士緯博士討論後,建議將本屬的中文名建議取為斑筒捲蛾。江氏斑筒捲蛾的「江氏」來自種名的jiangae,是兩位作者以他們的好朋友─江秀真小姐的姓氏取名,然而Buchsbaum & Chen (2013)的研究在摘要裡卻將種名誤拼為jingae,導致網路上有許多資料皆誤引用為<i>Terthreutis jingae</i>。圖中個體採自杉林溪,2013年5月,是本種的第二個產地。</div>

<i>Terthreutis </i>is a tortricid genus with 13 species up to date distributed in oriental region, and there are three species known to be recorded in Taiwan. <i>T. jiangae</i> represents one of the three Taiwanese <i>Terthreutis</i> species and is characteristic by the orange-brownish round marking near the end of the forwing cell.<br />

<i>Carpatolechia nephomicta</i>是旋蛾科/麥蛾科(Gelechiidae)旋蛾亞科(Gelechiinae)Litini族的成員,分布於日本與朝鮮半島南部,臺灣則是尚未正式紀錄的產地。本種的身體為灰褐色與黃褐色鱗片交雜,前翅底色為黃褐色與灰褐色交雜,前緣約1/2處有一塊黑色梯形斑,靠翅基處有一條黑色寬斜帶,後翅頂角凸出,灰褐色底,無其他翅紋。<i>Carpatolechia</i>在全世界共記錄約16種,主要分布於歐洲與亞洲,與<i>Pseudotelphusa</i>、<i>Teleiodes</i>和<i>Neotelphusa</i>非常近似,在外觀上無法區別,僅能依靠雄蟲生殖器判斷歸屬於何類群。該屬雖然在臺灣目前僅記錄1種─<i>C. flavipunctatella</i>,然而臺灣的旋蛾科已知物種屬級變動仍待釐清,因此物種總數可能還有變動。此外,<i>Carpatolechia nephomicta</i><u>在</u>Sakamaki (2013)的研究中被處理為<i>Pseudotelphusa</i>,惟作者語帶保留,認為屬級地位仍有待釐清,本文參考Park & Ponomarenko (2007)與Lee & Brown (2008)對屬級的定義後,採用Park & Ponomarenko (2007)的分類處理,將本種視為<i>Carpatolechia</i>下的一員。此外,本屬的族級地位在Lee & Brown (2008)的研究中被處理為Teleiodini,本文亦先採用Park & Ponomarenko (2007)的分類處理,待未來分類架構穩定後再做修正。<i>C. nephomicta</i>的翅紋與<i>C. nigrifasciata</i>目前無法區分,必須借由生殖器解剖才能鑑定,雖然後者目前尚未於臺灣被發現,但無法排除存在的可能性。圖中的個體採於尖台林道,2013年5月採。<br />

<i>Carpatolechia nephomicta</i>, originally distributed in Japan and southern Korea,<i> </i>is a gelechid species new and recorded in Taiwan fauna. <i>Carpatolechia </i>shows close affinity with <i>Pseudotelphusa</i>, <i>Teleiodes</i> and <i>Neotelphusa. </i>Here, the taxonomic status proposed by Park & Ponomarenko (2007) is followed. <i>Carpatolechia nephomicta </i>shares very similar wing pattern with <i>C. nigrifasciata</i>, and it is difficult to tell them apart except comparison of male and female genitalia.<br />

<i>Endotricha similata</i> was first recorded in Taiwan in the study of Wang & Li (2005). This species shares similar wing pattern with <i>E.</i> <i>mesenterialis </i>& <i>E.</i> <i>olivacealis</i>, and could be identified by the following characters: 1. subterminal line curved inward in M3 vein; 2. termen of hindwing curved in CuA2 strongly.<br />

黃帶歧角螟(<i>Endotricha mesenterialis</i>)是螟蛾科(Pyralidae)螟蛾亞科(Pyralinae)的成員,分布於中國、日本、緬甸、馬來西亞、印尼、印度與斯里蘭卡(Whalley, 1961; 李后魂等, 2009)。本種的身體紫紅色到深褐色,前翅翅基到內線為黑褐色,內線為白色,內線到亞外緣線主要為紅褐色到紫紅色,有些個體會有程度不同的黃斑,變異甚大,亞外緣線內側為白色,外側為黑色,鋸齒狀,亞外緣線至外緣為紫紅色,外緣線為黑色,頂角下方與CuA1-臀角的緣毛為黃色,後翅基部到內線為黑褐色,內線為白色,內線到外線主要為紅褐色到紫紅色,有些個體會有程度不同的黃斑,變異甚大,外線為白色,外線至外緣為紫紅色,外緣線為黑色,緣毛為黃色。歧角螟屬(<i>Endotricha</i>)的雄蟲一般肩片發達,會向後延伸到腹部,而黃帶歧角螟更是本屬裡特別發達的種類。本屬的其他介紹可參考本網誌的另外兩篇文章─<a href="http://mothtaiwan.blogspot.tw/2015/09/endotricha-luteogrisalis-hampson-1896.html">寬黃帶歧角螟</a>和<a href="http://mothtaiwan.blogspot.tw/2010/04/endotricha-olivacealis-bremer-1864.html">欖綠歧角螟</a>。在臺灣,黃帶歧角螟與欖綠歧角螟的翅紋非常近似,且變異都甚大,雖然李后魂等(2009)曾提及後者無黃色個體,然而筆者在檢視特有生物研究保育中心的標本並解剖比較後發現臺灣兩種皆同時具有黃色斑紋且變異程度不一的個體,因此是否具備黃斑無法用於區分兩物種。根據筆者目前的比對結果,兩種僅能藉由以下兩個特徵約略區分:1.大小:黃帶歧角螟雄蟲展翅寬17-18mm,雌蟲14-15mm,欖綠歧角螟雄蟲展翅寬14-18mm,雌蟲15-20mm;2.後翅翅紋:黃帶歧角螟的內線與外線之間距離較欖綠歧角螟窄,且靠前緣處未向外擴張。即使如此,仍有少數個體無法從上述兩個特徵判斷,必須藉由生殖器比較才能確定,遑論直接由停棲照辨識。黃帶歧角螟被分為三個亞種(Whalley, 1961),然而Whalley並未指定臺灣產族群為何亞種,而該亞種處理也未被後續中國與日本的相關文獻接受,因此本文暫時不使用亞種名,惟根據地理位置判斷,臺灣產族群應歸屬於原名亞種。圖中個體採自宜蘭縣南澳鄉,2013年12月。<br />

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DmaiLI6_7_Y/VlneNK4v46I/AAAAAAAAEhM/4bBRy8OxHEk/s1600/Epicopeia%2Bhainesii%2Bmatsumurai.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DmaiLI6_7_Y/VlneNK4v46I/AAAAAAAAEhM/4bBRy8OxHEk/s320/Epicopeia%2Bhainesii%2Bmatsumurai.jpg" width="193" /></a>松村氏淺翅鳳蛾(<span style="font-style: italic;">Epicopeia hainesii matsumurai</span>)是鳳蛾科(Epicopeidae)的成員,本亞種目前僅知分布於臺灣中央山脈海拔500-2000公尺的山區(Yen, Mu & Jean, 1997)。本種的頭胸腹部背面黑色,足為紅色,腹部腹面黑紅相間,雄蟲櫛齒較雌蟲發達,前翅前緣、外緣與赤脈為黑色,雄蟲翅形較雌蟲狹長,後翅外緣為黑色,靠頂角處有尾凸,M1和M2脈延伸入尾凸,靠外緣有一排紅斑,個體顏色變異甚大,前後翅可從白色底到黑色底。鳳蛾屬(<i>Epicopeia</i>)在臺灣僅紀錄2種,兩者之間的差異可參考本網誌的另一篇文章─<a href="http://mothtaiwan.blogspot.tw/2014/01/epicopeia-mencia-moore-1874.html">榆鳳蛾</a>。淺翅鳳蛾(<span style="font-style: italic;">Epicopeia hainesii</span>)分布於中國、韓國、日本與臺灣,目前共有4個亞種,中韓為<i>E. h. sinicaria</i>,日本有<i>E. h. </i><span style="font-style: italic;">hainesii</span>和<i>E. h. tsushimana</i>兩個亞種,臺灣則為松村氏淺翅鳳蛾(Inoue 1978, Endo & Kishida 1999)。本種成蟲主要發生於4-10月(時空分布模式可參考<a href="http://twmoth.tesri.gov.tw/peo/MothView.aspx?F=Epicopeiidae&G=Epicopeia&S=Epicopeia%20hainesii%20matsumurai">連結</a>),根據文獻推測一年兩代(Yen, Mu & Jean, 1997),幼生期可參考以下連結─<a href="http://caterpillartaiwan.blogspot.tw/2015/06/epicopeia-hainesii-matsumurai-okano-1973.html">松村氏淺翅鳳蛾幼蟲</a>。圖中個體來自南投縣仁愛鄉尖台林道,2015年5月。<br />

<i>Epicopeia</i> is an astonishing genus share high similarity of wing pattern with some Troidini species. <span style="font-style: italic;">E. hainesii matsumurai </span>represents one member of this genus and could be easily distinguished from <i>E. mencia</i> by only one row of red markings near termen.<br />
