Lateantenna eurotella (Adamski, 2010)

Lateantenna eurotella是痣蛾科(Blastobasidae)痣蛾亞科(Blastobasinae)的成員，目前已知分布於中國雲南、韓國與阿拉伯(Teng & Wang, 2019)，在臺灣則為未紀錄種。本種全身以灰色為主，外形與翅紋跟同屬其他物種十分相似。寬柄痣蛾屬(Lateantenna)的介紹可參考本網誌文章─短突寬柄痣蛾，近似種間翅紋近似，相關資料與研究甚少，目前僅能依靠比對生殖器鑑定。圖中標本照個體採自南投鳳凰自然教育園區，2023年2月。

A Brief Introduction 

Lateantenna eurotella is distributed in China (Yunnan), Korea (Teng & Wang, 2019) and Arab and unrecorded in Taiwan. Members of Lateantenna share quite similar wing patterns and could be only identified by genitalia comparison.

Ebodina elephantodes (Meyrick, 1938) 象圓眼捲葉蛾

象圓眼捲葉蛾(Ebodina elephantodes)是捲葉蛾科(Tortricidae)澳捲蛾亞科(Chlidanotinae)喜捲蛾族(Polyorthini)的成員，目前已知分布於臺灣與爪哇(Razowski, 2000)。本種成蟲頭部與胸部主要為淺灰褐色，雜有淡藍紫色閃鱗與灰黑色斑點，下唇鬚前伸，觸角約前翅長1/2，前翅寬圓，前緣向前圓弧狀突出，後緣較前緣長，黃褐色底與褐色斑點，翅脈從中室到外緣為較深的褐色，前緣外緣深橘色，翅基的斑塊、中室與外緣的條紋與中室條紋-翅基斑塊中間靠前緣的倒三角斑顏色與花紋組成與頭部胸部相同，停棲時前後翅向左右交疊呈扁平狀，如瓜子一般，是外形特別的捲蛾。圓眼捲葉蛾屬(Ebodina)全世界已知6種，主要分布於非洲區與東方區，在臺灣雖僅記錄一種，惟外型與捲蛾亞科(Tortricinae)的圓角捲蛾(Cnesteboda)相似，但可由翅紋辨識，且後者停棲外型較長，翅末端較寬。圖中標本照個體來自高雄梅山青年活動中心，2016年2月，停棲照來自臺北內雙溪自然中心，2018年2月。

A Brief Introduction

Ebodina elephantodes represents one of the six Ebodina species in the world and the only Ebodina species in Taiwan. It is characteristic by its round and flatten shape of resting posture compared to the other Tortricidae genera except Cnesteboda in Taiwan. The two genera could be diagnostic by wing pattern and shape of fore wing.
