Homona spargotis Meyrick, 1910 酪梨寬褶捲蛾

酪梨寬褶捲蛾(Homona spargotis)是捲蛾科(Tortricidae)捲蛾亞科(Tortricinae)的成員，目前僅知分布於澳洲與越南，臺灣是未正式紀錄的產地。本種雌雄二型，雄蟲體軀與觸角皆為黃褐色，前翅長，外緣圓弧，主要為黃褐色底，前緣靠基部有發達的半圓形前緣褶，前緣近基部1/3處有黑色圓斑，後緣有大塊紅褐色半圓斑，後翅為灰黑色底，頂角帶有橘色。寬褶捲蛾屬(Homona)目前全世界約有37種，主要分布於東南亞與澳洲區，古北區、非洲區與新熱帶區亦有少數種類分布，本屬雄蟲大多有發達的半圓形前緣褶，雖然茶捲葉蛾是病蟲害防治上較常用的名字，筆者仍另外建議使用寬褶捲蛾，臺灣目前共紀錄3種。酪梨寬褶捲蛾的英文名為avocado leafroller，在越南為酪梨害蟲，故名之，惟此種的寄主可能廣泛。Homona spargotis過去被當作是咖啡寬褶捲蛾(Homona coffearia)次同物異名(Diakonoff, 1939)，然而經過詳細研究後發現應為獨立種，故恢復其分類地位(Whittle et al., 1987)。前述兩種捲葉蛾的雌雄翅紋皆非常近似，必須比對生殖器才能明確鑑定。咖啡寬褶捲蛾過去被認為是臺灣茶葉害蟲之一，但是檢視來自茶改場的樣本後(樣本由桃園茶改場寧方俞與廖珠吟提供)，發現裡面有酪梨寬褶捲蛾，目前尚未檢視到真正的咖啡寬褶捲蛾，因此臺灣到底是只有一種還是兩種都有，仍有待後續釐清。圖中的個體於2018年12月採自南投縣仁愛鄉。

A Brief Introduction

Homona is a genus with up to 37 species and distributed in SE Asia, Australia, Palaearctic region and Neotropica. Most species in this genus is characteristic by the developed semicircular costal-fold in male. H. spargotis is erected by Whittle et al. (1987) and very close to H. coffearia. Dissection is needed for identification.

Metacosmesis laxeuta (Meyrick, 1906) 石匠新月紋果蛀蛾

石匠新月紋果蛀蛾(Metacosmesis laxeuta)是果蛀蛾科(Carposinidae)的成員，目前已知分布於斯里蘭卡、爪哇、中國與日本，臺灣則為尚未正式紀錄的產地。本種的體軀白色，下唇鬚發達且長，向前方伸，觸角白色，前翅為灰色底，基部為黃褐色，前緣有6個黑色斑點，內中線位置中央有灰褐色三角形斑，上方有黑線，中室頂端往翅基有一彎勾形黑斑，被認為是本屬的重要特徵，後緣中央有黃褐色斑，活體時黃褐色斑在某些角度會有金屬光澤，後翅為灰黑色，頂角突出而尖。新月紋果蛀蛾屬(Metacosmesis)是一個目前僅有4種的小屬，主要分布於東南亞到印度，中室附近的彎勾形黑斑被認為是重要辨識特徵(Diakonoff, 1989)，故筆者取名為新月紋果蛀蛾。本屬在臺灣目前僅記錄M. aelinopa，模式產地為斯里蘭卡，筆者目前僅找到正模雄蟲的描述，其他資訊不明。筆者根據原始文獻之翅紋描述(Diakonoff, 1982)排除圖示標本為M. aelinopa，然而未來仍需進一步比對雄蟲生殖器以確認是否為M. aelinopa，並確認臺灣到底有沒有M. aelinopa。石匠新月紋果蛀蛾的石匠取名自種小名的"laxeuta"，意思為stone-cutter，目前已知寄主為倒卵葉算盤子(Glochidion obovatum)。圖中個體於2019年3月採自南投縣仁愛鄉南豐村，並另有於1月採自宜蘭東澳的紀錄，此外，網路上亦有人於屏東縣瑪家村(3月)與新北坪林(1月)拍到成蟲。

A Brief Introduction

Metacosmesis is a small genus with only four species distributed majorly in SE Asia (4 species) and Palaearctic region(1 spcies), and is charateristic by the inverted-crescentic dark marking near the cell. Metacosmesis laxeuta is an unrecorded species to Taiwan, which is originally distributed in Sri Lanka, Java, China and Japan. Diagnostic characters on wings are still unclarified.
