Scotopais tristis (Mell, 1922) 紅頸黝斑蛾

紅頸黝斑蛾/斯斑蛾(Scotopais tristis)是斑蛾科(Zygaenidae)螢斑蛾亞科(Chalcosiinae)的成員，分布於中國，臺灣則為未正式發表的產地，越南亦須確認是否已正式紀錄。本種全身黝黑，僅頸部與前胸為紅色(中文名由來)，前後翅亦為黑色，無其他翅紋。紅頸黝斑蛾的模式產地為廣東北部，在臺灣目前僅發現於恆春半島，無近似種。圖中的個體來自屏東恆春半島，2011年7月。

A Brief Introduction

Scotopais tristis whose type locality is Guandong, China, is an unrecorded species in Taiwan and could be easily identified from the wing pattern and the red ring of neck and prothorax.
