Neomusotima fuscolinealis Yoshiyasu, 1985 黑線新蕨螟

黑線新蕨螟(Neomusotima fuscolinealis)是草螟科(Crambidae)蕨螟亞科(Musotiminae)的成員，目前僅知分布於日本與香港，臺灣則是尚未發表的新紀錄地點。本種的前翅外緣於中央(M2-CuA1遠體端)凸出，褐色底，亞基線、內線、外線與亞外緣線為黑色，中室頂端沿橫脈有一短黑色線條，沿亞外緣線有一條間斷的白帶，亞外緣到外緣為橘色；後翅外園波浪狀，亦為褐色底，亞基線、內線、外線與黑色，亞外緣線為一排黑點，亞外緣到外緣為暗橘色。新蕨螟屬(Neomusotima)是Yoshiyasu於1985以本種為模式種發表的新屬，當時僅包含一種，且僅記錄於日本地區，而後才在香港被記錄；直到2004年，Solis等人發表了來自中南半島與南洋群島的本屬第二種─N. conspurcatalis。本屬的中文名來自拉丁學名"Neo+musotima"，故筆者取名為新蕨螟屬；本種的種小名為黑色線條，因此取名為黑線新蕨螟。黑線新蕨螟與另一種翅紋十分相似，最大的差異在於雌雄生殖器特徵。本種雖然為未發表的新紀錄種，但也數次被拍到，主要都在低海拔山區，這應該與牠的寄主植物─海金沙的分布有關。圖中個體採於臺南曾文水庫，另外高雄中山大學亦有一筆目擊記錄。

A Brief Introduction

As one of the only two Neomusotima species in the world, N. fuscolinealis is an unrecorded species in Taiwan and originally distributed in Janpan and Hong Kong. Wing pattern of the two species is quite similar so that male and female genitalia comparison is the most reliable method two identify them.
