褐桑舞蛾(Choreutis achyrodes)被歸屬於擬捲葉蛾科/舞蛾科(Choreutidae)，是ialeura種群的成員，分布於日本、台灣、印度與爪哇等地。本種的前翅為橘黃色底，中央有多條較短的不連續白色帶，基部則為一條連續的白色帶；後翅為黑色，前緣有白斑。相較於其他同屬的種類，ialeura種群成員的翅紋比較簡單，沒有複雜的顏色與斑紋，容易辨識。本種在台灣無近似種，因此不易鑑定錯誤。

Compared to other species of Choreutidae in Taiwan, identification of (Choreutis achyrodes) is easier by the following characters: orange-yellowish ground colour and relatively simple fascia of forewing.
