Tineovertex melanochrysa (Meyrick, 1911)

Tineovertex melanochrysa是蕈蛾科(Tineidae)的成員，目前已知分布於日本、臺灣與印度。本種的頭部與前胸為黑色，中胸、後胸與腹部為黃褐色，前翅為米黃色底，前緣中央有一塊黑色三角斑，外緣為黑色；後翅為黑褐色底，無其他翅紋。本屬(Tineovertex)全世界目前已紀錄11種，主要從東方區(Oriental region)分布至古北區(Palaearctic region)；分類上被有兩大種群，分別是melanochrysa種群與canicoma種群，前者的頭部與胸部背方有黑色鱗片，後者則無。在臺灣目前僅記錄1種，即本種。T. melanochrysa在臺灣目前無近似種，可由翅紋做初步鑑別。圖中個體採於嘉義縣仁和國小，2011年9月。

Tineovertex melanochrysa represents the only species of Tineovertex in Taiwan and could be identified from its wing pattern.
