Amphipyra fuscusa Chang, 1991無紋紅裙雜夜蛾

無紋紅裙雜夜蛾(Amphipyra fuscusa)是夜蛾科(Noctuidae)雜夜蛾亞科(Amphipyrinae)的成員，目前僅知分布於台灣。本種的前翅為褐色底，中央有時隱約有一條黑色帶；後翅靠內緣2/3為橙紅色，靠外緣1/3為褐色；身體除頭部後方有一條橘色線外，其於皆為黑褐色。雜夜蛾屬(Amphipyra)目前共紀錄7種，其中大紅裙雜夜蛾(A. surnia)與本種的後翅皆有約2/3的區域為橙紅色，其餘皆為灰褐色。無紋紅裙雜夜蛾與大紅裙雜夜蛾最大的差異在於前者的前翅除了隱約的黑帶外無其他翅紋，但後者則有較多的黑色線條與其他斑紋。本種雖然體型不小，卻遲至1991年才由張保信老師發表，主要分布於海拔2000m以上山區。

A Brief Introduction

Amphipyra fuscusa represents a member of 7 Amphipyra species in Taiwan and shares the following character with A. surnia: more than 2/3 area of hindwing is orange-reddish. And A. fuscusa could be distinguished from A. surnia by clear wing pattern of forewing.
